Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea

The Great Barrier Reef is the world largest reef system and it has about twenty nine hundred individual reefs,   the reef is located in the Coral Sea. The coral reef is built up of many millions of small tiny organisms called coral polyps. According to the Australians the Great Barrier Reef is the eight wonder of the world. Then again, a lot of people feel that this is an understatement.  The Great Barrier Reef is the only living organism on plant earth that can be seen even from space.  The reef stretches for about twelve hundred miles.  This is located about ten to fifteen miles off the coast of Queensland. . This one big reef is association of about twenty nine thousand smaller reefs.  And in the middle of all these there are about three hundred islands that are just lying there in between these larger islands. Antwerp museum of fine arts

Antwerp is a beautiful city that lies in Belgium. The capital of Antwerp is Flanders. This city has been an important city in the nations of the Benelux. This was in regard to economy and culture way before the Spanish and the dutch. Antwerp is located on the sight side of the scheldt river. According to local legends, a state in front of the town hall, a mythical giant called antigood . this giant would live under the bridge and he would take a toll from people who crossed the bridge. Those who refused to pay , would have their arms severed and thrown into the river scheldt. Although, one day the giant was slain by a young man called Brabo. He cut off the giant’s hands and threw it into the river. Hence the city is known as Antwerp. Ant – for hand in Dutch and werp means throw. The amazingly historical city of Cordoba; Spain

After about half a century after Andalusia was conquered by the moors, abd ar rahman the first, who was the son of Umayyad who were the caliphs of Damascus. This man was a Berber. This let to the old trading town of Damascus to become one of the most liberal and rich metropolises of the ancient world. After about six years the Persian murdered his father and all the other member of his family who could come in the way of them and the throne. Rahman escaped and hid with his mothers Berber tribe in the Atlas Mountains. He later, from North Africa, took a herd of nomadic horsemen. These who were loyal to him and went to southern Spain. Once he reached Spain, he killed the governor of Cordoba and most of the soldiers there at Seville. Rahman later took over Cordoba and set up an independent emirate which later became Andalusia. Costa Rica is a beautiful country in South America. It has beautiful beaches s, lovely places to live in, great coastal food, and warm people. The weather here is quite good, the atmosphere is lovely and most of all the country just don’ stop surprising you in so many different ways. Nicaragua lies to the north of it, panama to the south. Mongolia, the land of the Nomads. This country is landlocked. Its lies between china on the south and Russia on the north. Kazakhstan on the west. The population density in Mongolia is amongst the least in the whole world. Mongolia is also called the “land of Blue skies”. There are about two hundred and fifty sunny days in a year. The winters are very cold; and the temperature could go well below zero degrees. The land is made with different types of terrain; ranging from desert terrain to a mountain terrain. Solomon Islands

Solomon islands is a state in the Oceania area which is made up of around one thousand islands. Before the united kingdom established a protectorate over the Solomon islands, the islands were inhabited by Melanesian people; for almost a millennium. The queen of England is the head of state in the Solomon islands. Most of these islands are part of the Solomon islands' rain-forest Eco-region. The islands have several active volcanic regions; with Tinakula and Kavachi being the most active compared to the others. The islands here have a very humid climate. Herat is located in the valley of the Hari river. It is the third largest city in the county. Herat was known world over for its wine. The city is almost twenty-seven hundred years old. Alexander the great has built the most elaborate citadel and many historic buildings. Although a lot of these have been damaged by the many wars that have been fought in the region over the years. This city was one of the most important cities of the Persian empire during the middle ages. This strategically important city was a major trade route between middle east, central and south Asia.
