Visit the St. Sebastian’s Church here which is just around 23km from Allepey and lies to its north. It is a very important church here and in fact is a very important church in the whole of Kerala. It was believed to be built by St. Stephen and dates back to the first century.
You also have the Champakulam church which is also a great tourist attraction because it happens to be the oldest in the state of Kerala. Visit this and go back to the ancient ages of the past.
Then you have the Mullakkal Rajeswari temple which is thronged by all the Hindus who come here to see the Goddess Rajeshwari who is the presiding deity of the temple. It is situated in the middle of the city of Alleppey also known as Alapuzha.
