Beauty in its wildlife, Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a beautiful country in South America. It has beautiful beaches s, lovely places to live in, great coastal food, and warm people. The weather here is quite good, the atmosphere is lovely and most of all the country just don’ stop surprising you in so many different ways.

Nicaragua lies to the north of it, panama to the south. The west of the country lies beautifully along the Pacific Ocean. The Caribbean Sea lies to the east.

Costa Rica is called the rich coast and has always being amongst the top Latin American countries in the human development index,

The country is so proactive about its growth and its contribution to the world that it has declared to be totally carbon neutral country by the next eleven years.

What’s cool about this place is, quite delightfully, this place ranks first in the happy planet index. And right now, Costa Rica is the greenest country in the world.

The country is located north of the equator, lying quite closely to it.

The highest point that lies here is Cerro Chirripo which lies at about twelve thousand five hundred feet.

Lake Arena is the largest lake in Costa Rica.

Along with its many marvels, Costa Rica also has many islands. Although Cocos Islands are located the farthest away from the mainland.

The country is very diverse is its species and has a wealth of wildlife. And almost on quarter of the nation is under a protected areas system.

The country is home to a variety of plants and animals.  It has about five percent of the whole worlds biodiversity and amount zero point two five of the whole worlds landmass. Now that is some impressive statistics!!

The country is world famous and renowned ecologists have been amazed with the wonders of wildlife here in Costa Rica

The corcovado is the park here in the country which is home to all the four species of Costa Rican monkeys.

Ballooning is one of the many things you can do in this lovely country. You have horseback riding, off road driving tubing, rafting, canyoning and many other water sports.

The companies that have these sports and activities are owned by big American companies.

So the staff is either American or trained by Americas and the balloons are British designed.

Tourists visit this destination throughout the year. Even then there is fair amount of rainfall. This is because the country is just that amazing.

The country side has a combination of sugarcane plantations and pineapple plantations as well. And the land over here is primarily a big jungle.  Apart from the greenery you have active volcanoes and some amazing looking rivers.

When you arrive here on the balloon lands, don’t be too surprised if you are greeting with a big crowd of sugar cane cutter and local farmers.

Costa Rica has a host of fancy hotels and luxury inns. However if you like to budgets it out, there are many bunk bed style rooms on farms and horse ranches.
