Come to Ernakulam the lovely city in god’s own country – Kerala. Visit this lovely region with the best of scenic splendor and greenery and go round the past royal history that the city of Ernakulam possesses.

Go to the Mattanchery Palace which is a Portuguese construction and has been presented to the Kochi Raja sometime in the 15th century. Also known by the name of the Dutch Palace the present name was given when there were lot of repairs done by the Dutch in the 16th century. With beautiful murals depicting the scenes from the Indian epic Ramayana, there are also a great number of palanquins and royal attire on display here in this beautiful palace. The palace is closed for tourists on Fridays and other national Indian holidays.

Go to the Jewish synagogue here and see the great scrolls of the Old Testament here. Situated in Mattanchery it is a great place with copper plates showing the privilege grants of the rulers of Kochi. You can also see the tiles here from China which are painted with a lot of intricate work. This is open to public on all days except Saturdays and public holidays.

Again there is the St. Francis church which is a church of the Protestants and is again a Portuguese construction. Built in the 15th century, this is the oldest European church in India. This is where the remains of the great traveler Vasco Da Gama was initially buried after which it was taken to Portugal after 14 years.

Ernakulam also has the Roman Catholic Church Santa Cruz Basilica Church which is very near the St. Francis Church. It is a worthwhile trip to go here and the paintings here are very very elegant and pleasing to the eye.

Ernakulam is famous for the Naduvileppalli which is the most elegant and splendid church in the city. The church is also known by the name of The St. Francis Assissi Church. The complete mix of Kerala and Portugal kind of architecture is found here and the roof here is a major attraction. The roof is hyperbolic parabloid. It is found resting on two pillars on either side. Existing for more than 179 years, this church is a great attraction for all the tourists. They like to come here and enjoy the quiet and feel closer to God here.

If ever you are in Ernakulam and miss to see the Chinese Fishing Nets then you have missed something fantastic. These nets border the sea coast in Ernakulam and show the mechanical way of catching fish. The fishermen in the city are experts at this and these nets have been brought to India from China during the time of Kubla Khan. The traders during his reign brought it here and it is normally used during high tide. To see this is in itself an experience.

Then you have the Bolghatty Palace which is located in the Bolghatty area and is a beautiful island laden with palm trees. The Dutch built this palace in the 17th century. The British Resident had this as its headquarters and today it is a grand hotel run by Kerala tourism.

Visit North America and enjoy the beautiful locales here and experience the feeling of being in a lovely paradise. Amongst the many locales here, the Cuttyhunk Island is a beautiful land of pleasures and travel thrills.

Cuttyhunk Island is a part of the Gosnold town in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This is around 12 miles to the south of New Bedford and around 8 miles to the west of the Gay Head. This is a place where you can bask in the pleasures of tour delights and enjoy doing just nothing. This is a lovely beach here which enthrall you with the kind of sand that is found here. This is a fantastic harbour here which has facilities for fishing and also has a few comfortable houses which would give you a lot of things to take back. So come here and experience the hiking trails here which give you a lot of adventurous escapades.

Cuttyhunk does not have many malls, discos, bars, a party life, traffic, parking lot and enough action. What this place has is a secluded spot with a lot of beautiful ambience and the perfect travel environment. This is one place where you can enjoy a lot of small time activities like reading and basking in pleasures. Experience the pleasures of fishing and relax in this lovely ambience. This is the outermost part of the Elizabeth Island in the region is Massachusetts. This is situated between Vineyard Sound in the south and Buzzards Bay in the north. Nashwena Islands lies to the east and Penikese Islands lies to the north. The island is the fourth largest in the Elizabeth Island region and today it is a place where most of the people of Gosnold live.

Initially it was called the Poochuohhunkkunnah which perhaps comes from the Wampanoag which means the Point of Departure. It also means the Lands End. The native tribe of Wampanoag lives here. In the year 1602, Bartholomew Gosnold then renamed the island. He set out on The Concord and he began his journey from Falmouth in England and planted a colony in the American world. Gosnold and his people came near Kennebunkport in Maine. He also explored Cape Cod, Cuttyhunk and Martha’s Vineyard. They founded a modest on Cuttyhunk Island where they decided to grow some sassafras which is a valuable commodity in Europe. They explored islands for a month and then they came back to The Concord in England.

In the year 1606 King gave the Elizabeth Islands to the Council of New England. Then these islands were taken over by the Earl of Sterling Alexander. Then Thomas Mayhew bought the islands in the year 1641 and then in 1663 the Duke of York who took over the proprietorship.

Cuttyhunk is the hub of a lot of tourists and has a large striped bass. In the year 1913, Charles Church had a catch of a striped bass of around 73 pounds. This record lasted for many years. Then Charles Cinto doubled all the efforts and it has been the home port to many fishing guides. There are many secret places here which are attached by nickel alloy wire and stainless steel which are found lying along the rocky reefs which are found near the island. This is where you can find the female stripers from the spring season to the autumn season. The Sow and Pigs reef are the most notable and are a sight to see.

In the 19th century the coastal shipping was very heavy. In the year 1830 there were a large number of vessels which passed Cuttyhunk. The tip of the island in the southern tip was a location for the lighthouse so that it could help to guide traffic. The island had its first lighthouse which was constructed in the year 1823. This is a 25 foot stone tower and it gave light across the region.

Cuttyhunk Island provides utmost travel delights and gives the best tour experiences.

Manali in the land of Northern India is a place to be in if you want to feel ecstatic while on a journey. One day it happened that the seventh incarnation of Manu, Varvasvata found a tiny fish in the waters of the bathing Ghats. The fish gave an advice to take care of it with a lot of devotion, so that it would help him do a great service. Manu who was the seventh in line, took care of the fish till it became so huge and then he released it into the sea. Before the fish left, the fish warned Manu of a flood that could submerge the entire world. When the deluge eventually occurred, Varvasvata and seven saints were safely towed, by the fish Matsya, which is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. When the water level reduced then the seventh ark of Manu came on a hill and the place where it rested was called as Manali. This at a height of around 2050 m is today a great tourist spot and is a perfect hill station in this part of India.

Visit the Pacific region in the beautiful United States of America and get to see the most beautiful sights in this part of the world. Come here and enjoy traveling in the northwestern part of Pacific and go back with the best travel memories.

Visit the Pike Place Market here and experience the pleasures of a fascinating market in this part of the world. This is where you would surely love to come if you are on tours to Seattle. There are a variety of lovely sights that you would get here so bask in the pleasures of a lovely bazaar and a great locale in this part of the Pacific.

Here you would find the most eccentric characters like Cubby the trained housecat and you would really be enchanted to see the silver tabby here which will shake hands and also perform tricks. People normally enjoy the rides up the Space needle and also see the beautiful Emerald city image.

Founded in the year 1930, this is an open market for fish and is situated in Seattle. The Pike Place Market is at the corner of the Pike Place and Pike Street. This is very popular for the fishmongers here who throw fish that has been purchased by customers before they are wrapped. The fish market owner almost came into bankruptcy and so the employees decide to become popular by changing the way they do their business and introduce games, flying fish and also performances of the customers. Some four years later they were repeated shown in most of the media and television shows. Today it is a popular tour attractions in this part of Seattle.

Then in the year 1965, there was an employee of the fish market by the name of John Yokoyama and he bought the store and made lot of money. Initially this market was not known outside the region of Seattle but Yokoyama and his staff changed the scenario and made it world famous.

In the year 1930, the Goodwill Games were held in Seattle. Then slowly the market became very famous and started getting featured in magazines and television shows. The employees of the market contributed to the progress of the market.

Today the monkfish is a major feature of the Pike Place Fish Market and is amongst the three most fun places of work in America. The fish market is very well known for hurling the customer’s orders in the shopping locale. The routine for ordering is that a customer would first order a fish, and the fishmongers in their orange overalls made of rubber would call out this order. Then it is loudly referred back by the other staff and then the initial fishmonger would throw the customer’s preferred fish behind the counter so that it could be wrapped. The shouting actually started as a prank by an employee who worked here before and then it became a rule. The staff always yell in unison during the time the order is placed and also when the throw the ordered fish. The fish market staff also throws a foam fish sometimes and many a time a bystander gets scared to the amusement of certain others. There is in fact a board which reads “Caution: Low Flying Fish”.

Thus the Pike Place Market which is a public market is a major attraction in this part of Seattle overlooking the magnificent Elliott Bay. This is actually one of the oldest operated farmers market in the United States of America. It is thus a business hub of smalltime farmers, merchants and crafts people. The market has been named after the Pike Place Street here which runs from Virginia Street to Pike Street.

Situated on top of a hill this has many lower levels and each feature has a collection of shops and antique dealers which give the best tourist fare to people coming here. There are small restaurants owned by families here and the upper street level is where the fish market is seen. There are also fresh produce stalls and craft shops and these are very popular in this area. The craftsmen here and the local farmers sell their wares here. Today the Pike Place Market is a place that has some 500 residents living in around 8 buildings. Most of these buildings are seen to have a low income and this is a market that has around 10 million visitors per year.

Central America provides you with the best travel pleasures and the most important tour delights. Come here and enjoy the beautiful sights and the equally fascinating sights which so form a part of the tours. Placencia here is one such locale providing the best travel memories and gives the ultimate delights of being in a land of absolutely exciting escapades. The Belizian community is very tranquil and serene and provides the ultimate travel ecstasy. Placencia has some of the best combination of the Creoles, the African slaves and the European settlers who are said to have lived here in the land of ancient culture. The Placencia Peninsula is around 16 miles long. It also has The Maya Beach and the Seine Bight. Placencia is today another version of the Punta Placentia and the name was given to the Spaniards to the peninsula sometime in the 1800s. Placencia in English means Point Pleasant.

Placencia has some of the best beaches in town and provides the most memorable travel experiences to people coming to this part of the world. These in fact have been declared as the best in the land of Belize. The village has its own association which calls the beach “Barefoot Perfect.” This is the name given to other towns also. Placencia does not have any paved roads and has only some pathways for traffic to ply. The Main Street is surprising just a sidewalk and provides a lot of intrigue to people who come to this part of Central America. In the recent past there are many resorts that have come up here and the peninsula has a lot of scenic ambience to boast about. So the lifestyle in Placencia has been pushed up and the best way to relax here is to enjoy the laid back attitude that is so typical of Belize tours and just bask in the pleasures of the breeze. the calm peninsula with its absolutely stress free ambience provides memorable travels in the land of delights and it is really an enchanting experience to watch the waves loll about casually and see the swaying branches of the tall coconut palms here. A hammock is the best retreat here and it is really a greatly relaxing experience to take a nap or settle with a book here in the lazy afternoons.

The Sydney Opera House has two theatres and a concert hall and a studio as well, and a playhouse with the lovely facility of a café and a bar. Tours are regularly held here between 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening.

Then of course you have the Sydney Harbour Bridge which traverses the entire region and mainly crosses the commercial reign of this lovely city. This is a magnificent structure made of steel and has been named the Coat hanger. It was built in Northumberland and has around 7 lanes of traffic and 2 railway tracks, and a single cycle lane. There is a toll that you have to pay and also ensure you follow all the signs that are there here. There are a flight of steps that help you to access the bridge and a life takes you from the Circular quay or the Botanical Gardens.

Sydney has been built such that the harbour is the mainstay of the place. It is surrounded by lovely headlands and also the coziest of beaches, and a great way one could visit the places in and around here like the Parramatta, the Olympic site, and the manly Beach, is to take an enjoyable ride on the ferry or the jet.

Then visit the Royal Botanic Gardens. This has around 7500 trees and was started in the year 1836. Located in the Sydney Opera House, this is one area which covers around 30 hectares of land with the most beautiful rose gardens, the most exotic flowers and the loveliest views of the harbourside.

This can be toured via the Wildlife Service and the national parks and also the cruises along the Cadmans Cottage on the Sydney Cove.

If you are in Africa, then you should visit the Mount Kilimanjaro which is the most fascinating experiences when you are on an African tour. This mountain with its three volcanic cones Shira, Mawenzi and Kibo is a lovely dormant volcano in the Kilimanjaro National park in the region of Tanzania. This is also the highest African peak at a height of around 5,895 m.

This beautiful landform is made up of the three volcanic cones. The Kibo at a height of around 5,895 m is the first then you have the Mawenzi at a height of around 5,149m and the Shira which is at a height of 3,962m. Amongst these the Uhuru Peak is the highest on the crater rim of Kibo.

This volcanic mountain is a huge giant strato volcano that started forming some million years ago when lava spilt out of the Rift Valley Zone. Mawenzi and Shira were its two peaks which were totally extinct while the other peak Kibo which is also the highest has been dormant. Chances are that it could erupt again. The last eruption of this volcano was some 360,000 years back, and the most recent activity was recorded some 200 years back.

Kibo is dormant but it has fumaroles which emit a lot of gas in the crater. It is said that the molten magma is around 400 m below the top of the crater. There have been many landslides and collapses that have occurred here on Kibo in the past. This is how in fact one has occurred and it is called the Western Breach.

There are many trekking routes here in the land of Kilimanjaro, and tourists normally climb the Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy this lovely adventure. The routes are the Marangu, Lemosho, rongai, and the Shira and also the Machame and the Umbwe. Amongst these routes, Machame is the one with the most scenic attractions though the route here is quite steep. This expedition takes around six or seven days.

The least beautiful is the Rongai which is not a greatly beautiful zone. The camping routes here are a little difficult and provide the tourist with a difficult but enchanting time.

Marangu is another route that is comparatively very easy and the accommodation here is shared in huts and climbers like coming to this part of Africa and enjoy the travel experiences.

Tourists who want to trek the Mount Kilimanjaro summit are required to do a lot of research, which would ensure that you are well equipped and that you are physically fit. The climb is not very challenging as the climb on the Himalayas or the Andes. The temperature, elevation and the high winds make it a very dangerous trekking expedition. It is important to get acclimatized here so that the trekkers do not suffer from altitude sickness or any such health problems. The trekkers have a lot of discomfort and run short of breath and sometimes suffer from headaches and hypothermia.

Kilimanjaro is an Afromonatane sky island, with a great biodiversity and has the most fascinating endemic species. These endemics have the giant groundsels in the grasslands and the bunchgrass. The other flora adapt themselves to the alpine plant conditions that are prevalent here. The forest types here are at a great height and has a lot of vascular plant species. The MOntane Ocotea forests are found on the southern slope. With the forests of Juniperus and Casipourea are found here. The presence of the subalpine Erica forests are also found here. The endemic incline is a little less here.

With ideal visual sights, Mount Kilimanjaro which gives the greatest vies of the surface of the earth and is a lovely travel fare in Africa.
