So, you have had a tough, tiring day at work and you are all wound up ! Well, get ready to unwind, get groovy and thoroughly enjoy yourself in the amazing nightlife bars and restaurants that the beautiful city of Dubai has to offer.

Dubai being one of the seven emirates of the united Arab emirates; is the most liberal of them all. A Melting pot of cultures , Dubai not only has an unbelievable variety of food and culture but all , amazing nightlife and great places to dine and listen to your favorite music. Whats more, if you are a person who like s to shake your legs then you are going to have the time of your life in the amazing city of Dubai.

In many restaurants you will find Arabic pop along with English and Hindi music (these are most popular in the region). The restaurants here don’t pick up until 10pm. Hummous, caviar, olives, salads and sliced meat are quite popular among the local food.

Treat yourself to some belly dancing, with Dubai’s most exquisite belly dancers and you could even have this as part of your over night desert safari. Which also includes camel rides and barbecued food. Most importantly of course it includes driving around the desert in land-cruisers and Nissan Patrols.

Though hated by the local conservatives, Dubai seems to not back down from its agenda of attracting tourists. At the Dubai shopping festival you will see replicas of miniature themed countries; selling their specialty products and delicacies. Alcohol is easily available to buy in Dubai and consume at restaurants. Although drinking and drinking is a crime that is taken very seriously.

There are a lot of places to hang out and enjoy yourself like :

The Buddha bar
The name should speak for itself, the bar plays mainstream lounge music and the scenario here is more peaceful and relaxing.

Rock Bottom Cafe
Is a groovy place where you have pumping music, lovely food and a fun clientèle, people coming to this place take it for granted that they are going to have a banging time.

Zinc
Zinc features hip hop and r&b on Friday nights. Located on the ground floor of crown plaza hotel, the club keeps changing its music every night but is predominantly hip hop and r&b. The crowd here is awesome and the dance-floor is usually packed till about 3 am. Drinks here are about 40 – 50 Dirhams each.
Food is not served here. For that you could help yourself to the TGI Fridays just next to zinc.
Entrance for ladies is free and for the men it is about 100 Dirhams.

So pack your bags and head out to Dubai – the coolest desert in the middle east.

The UAE culture mainly revolves around the religion of Islam and traditional Arab, and Bedouin culture. In contrast, the city of Dubai is a highly cosmopolitan society with a diverse and vibrant culture.

The influence of Islamic and Arab culture on its architecture, music, attire, cuisine and lifestyle are very prominent as well.

Five times every day, Muslims are called to prayer from the minarets of mosques which are scattered around the country.

Since 2006, the weekend has been Friday-Saturday, as a compromise between Friday’s holiness to Muslims and the Western weekend of Saturday-Sunday
