With an awesome backdrop of uninterrupted sky and a beautiful lake that is rippling in splendor, this place has art all over the natural setting. Humlebaek is a small village that is located to him north of the beautiful city of Copenhagen. . If you have nay inclination to art, or are an enthusiast, you would know that this place is one of the most awed and highly regarded.  This place has a very unusual museum.  It is supposed to be a pinnacle in architecture n nature and art and is created by a person called knud Jensen,

Jensen used to own a whole food company and he also had a keen interest in art and architecture and literature.  This man later came across an estate area which way located o a high rise over a place called oresund.  This place was separated by the stretch of water which also separate Denmark from Sweden this place was named Louisiana because the owner of this land  married three women in succession of one another and they all happened to be named Louise, .  Jensen said, based on this he too wanted to name the museum Louisiana. This apparently was a decision that they never regretted.

Jensen later sold off part of his company to setup up a museum here on the site,

He was approached by two architects, one was juergen boo and villhelm wohlert. These people were then commisioned to design and start the development of the new building.

These people and their team spent many months checking the terrain and made necessary changed and improvement and then they made the building with heavy influence from Scandinavian architecture.

The old part of the building still exists and is used now as a service area for the main entrance of the museum, this was done to exhibit the intimate art culture.

According too purist art culture and designs, there were light and airy wings that were added that extended all the way to the park. These were then also integrated to the underground section.

This place was made so that the shades in this entire structure contrast quite obviously. The shades between the tunnels styled corridors. The rooms also had high ceilings.  The difference between the inside and the outside of this place is what is so amazing. . Once you get out of the building you are directly directed toward the many stunning sculptures in the park. . The park has about sixty sculptures that include works of artists like Joan Miro, max Ernst, Henry mooore and Alexander Calder. All these sculptures just add to the magnificence of this place.

The Louisiana museum also gives credit to certain works of art that has out this museum on the world map.  In nineteen fifty eight with the museum first open, the exhibition was then made for young Danish painters. . after a few years , Jensen released that if the museum was to have a future and remain on the international map then he was have to incorporated international art in this place. . There was no funding to actually buy new international paintings. He however managed to get many new paintings without much cost and also these paintings being of high grandeur. This happened because of large dominations by NY Carlsberg and other artists and collectors. .

Jensen; felt that a part from having the art, he wanted to exhibit in a distinct manner. He felt that the paintings should be displayed according to their period. Along with the other paintings from their period as well.

You should definitely check out Alberto giacomettis collection.  This place is totally worth the visit.  Albert has included some very somber and calm figures in a room, when you look out the window, the lake looks almost enchanted. . While you are here, you will actually find it hard, to break away from here to even go check out the rest of the exhibits here.

The new realist art movement is displayed by paintings from  yves klein , lucio Fontana , jan tinguely  and  martial raysse;  who setup up the demonstrations for the  for the new realist movement, Caesar’s sculpture  of a giant impression of a very detailed thumb almost looks like war sign.
